Expert advice on EHCPs, reviews, and the realities of SEND.

Working Together

I pride myself on a collaborative, supportive and positive professional relationship with all of my clients and, in the spirit of transparency, it is important to recognise that I continue to be employed by the NHS.  If I am unable able to take your call or respond to your message immediately please be assured that I will get back to you as soon I am able. I know from personal experience how important this is!

Communication

I prefer to speak with parents directly by phone. This allows us to have a proper conversation, explore issues clearly, and make better progress. I will always follow up with a written summary email afterwards. I aim to reply promptly and always within a reasonable timeframe.

I work solely with the parent or carer who signs the agreement. I do not contact schools or other professionals directly, this protects everyone’s interests and ensures consistent, confidential communication.

Payment

Invoices are issued after the Initial Consultation and must be paid before work starts. For larger packages, I may offer payment plans in staged instalments, agreed in advance.

I will never pressure you to commit to more than you need, and I will never exploit your situation.

Safeguarding

I take my responsibility to you and your young person extremely seriously. I have worked within the Safeguarding framework for both children and adults within my role in the NHS for over 25 years and this diligence and commitment is the cornerstone of my business.

If a safeguarding concern arises during our work together, I have a professional duty to act appropriately. I will always try to discuss this with you first, unless doing so would put someone at further risk.
